Is it safe to travel to Sweden?

Is it safe to travel to Sweden? I am from America and I want to travel to Sweden/Norway/Finland. I know that Norway and Finland are safe, but what about Sweden? Is it free of wars and civil wars? What is the chance of getting killed?
