White bump with red surrounding it?

Hola; I'm 14 & I wear eye-liner, eye-shadow, and mascara everyday but before I go to sleep at night, I use petroleum jelly to get it off. (Works well!) & I have never had a problem with it....Until yesterday morning. Half of my eye was a light red & when I looked closer, there was a small white dot on the edge of my iris & it was like red around it & very veiny looking. Well I didn't think it was a big deal considering I had a stye in my eye a couple of weeks back. (Something is always wrong with my eye.) Well I went to the pool earlier & I got out & it looked like that one side of my eye got more red. (Thanks chlorine.) So anybody know whats up with my eye? *Btw; Like 2 weeks ago, a gnat flew into my eye & I got it out. (GUTS!; Ewww.) That probably has nothing to do with anything but thought it would help. Thanks.
