Hey Guys does this makes sense (Viking story)?
The story has already been done, there is a very similar movie in the 1950s epic THE VIKINGS with Kirk Douglas. However The Vikings traveled all over the world once they developed the long-ship, acoss oceans, seas, lakes and rivers, the boat could also be carried overland when needed, evidence of their expeditions are turning up in surprising places all the time.Vikings bought and traded slaves all the time. Ancient Rome bought and used slaves from anywhere they could find them, one place was Africa. However ancient Rome had fallen by the time period of Viking expedition, not to say that a few former slave Africans were not still running loose in Italy or in Spain. However many Moorish people at the time still traded in slaves, and vikings traded with the moors,so you would more likely run into this type of slave in east europe somewhere, now known as Russia.Vikings often traveled along ancient russian rivers and some vikings even served as mercenaries and guards in Costantinople. In fact Russia gets its name from a swedish tribe of vikings that were called "The Rus".There is some evidence that Vikings may have encountered people of African descent, and they were described as 'blue men' in the Scandinavian language.
