Is it ok to wear extensions in my headshot and to my auditions?

My hair is ok I guess, but it is thin and not as long as I would like it. Would it be bad if I wore them to auditions and in my headshot. I feel like I might be tricking the casting director into thinking it is my real hair and what if I am cast because of it. Is it a good or bad idea.
